The project entails leveraging a number of technologies to implement a Private Cloud Self-service Provisioning and Management Capability.
Use of Pivotal Spring technologies including Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data (Rest) and RabbitMQ are leveraged.
Experience with all is desired but minimally knowledge of all these Spring projects is required.
In addition knowledge of VMwares vCloud Orchestrater (vCO) is a plus as well as other VMware technologies including vCenter Operations (vCOPS), Hyperic (monitoring agent) and Log Insight (RSyslog Log aggregator similar to Splunk). Skills and knowledge in this technology space is a plus but not required.
A working knowledge of Puppet is also a big plus.
Being able to edit Modules, leverage Craig Dunns Role-Profile-Module Pattern is a great asset.
Understanding Hiera and ENC (external node classifiers) along with M-Collective are desirable skills or knowledge sets.
A good working knowledge of Subversion or Git along with Jenkins using Maven for builds is required.
Also working knowledge of Archiva and other Jenkin plugins is optional but desirable.
Understanding Continuous Deployment SDLC process is required and experience automating the process is desirable.
Must be able to engage in design discussions and deliver functional, well written, and well tested code in a timely manager.
Experience working in an agile (SCRUM) development process is required.
