This a key senior manager assisting the Project Manager in meeting all mission requirements. This person must be capable to step in and perform all requirements of the Department Manager at a moment''s notice.
Acts as Department Manager in his/her absence.
Directly involved in production control and production control management documentation.
Manages Department staff support functions for the Department Manager.
Manages the operational budget for the department.
Direct all human resources and management activities in the respective operations functional area. Determine staff needed to accomplish goals, select and hire new employees and assign responsibilities to the entire staff.
Oversee and manage goods used at the facility such as sales merchandise, inventory or production materials.
Establishes policies and procedures that align with the project and organization's overall goals and objectives.
Implements standards of performance, safety policies and procedures and makes policy changes as necessary.
Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
This is a contingent position based on Contract Award and receipt of funding from the customer.
BA/BS in Engineering, Technical, or Business Discipline
10-15 yrs of related experience including 05-10 years relevant experience
US Army customer program experience helpful
