What does a sales engineer do?
Assist with the promotion of the sale of Tognum products, system solutions or services from a technical engineering perspective
Serve as liaison between the distributor, the end-user, the sales manager, and application centers to assess engine/system requirements for new product installations
Supports the analysis of technical issues on existing Tognum product installations and provide solutions to meet customer requirements
Perform special projects as required.

Qualifications:
Required:
1. Bachelor of Engineering degree in a related field and official graduation by May 2014.
2. Permanent Residency or US Citizenship may be required due to Federal contract status.
3. Minimum 3.0 GPA, overall and in major.
4. Willing to relocate to Novi, Michigan for training as well as assignment.
5. High level of technical knowledge in several engineering disciplines.
6. Basic knowledge of tooling, manufacturing and assembly processes, machining technology, quality control.
7. Good analytical and logical problem solving ability with the ability to draw conclusions
8. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines at the same time
9. Effective oral, written & interpersonal communication skills.
10. Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite.
11. Ability to use shop tools and mechanical and/or electronic instruments.
12. Ability to travel - domestic and international (up to 50%)
Preferred:
1. Previous summer internship experience in an engineering, sales engineering or manufacturing environment.
2. Knowledge of internal combustion engines
3. Knowledge of diesel engines
4. Ability to interpret blueprints and installation drawings.
5. Knowledge of MTU products and applications
# Work Environment:

Daily work is performed in an office environment. This position has a traditional work schedule that requires five (5) eight (8) hour days during a Monday through Friday work schedule, and overtime as business requires.
While performing duties of this position, an employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to manipulate small items such as a keyboard or mouse. Next, the employee is occasionally required to stand, reach, and / or grasp. Finally, an employee is also frequently required to walk within the work environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
