Qualifications: Valid Georgia teaching certificate in appropriate area; experience teaching at the high school level.
Responsibilities: The math teacher will 1) Plan and implement lessons for 9th-12th grade students enrolled in CCGPS courses. 2) Collaborate with Data Teams to develop common plans, assessments, and grading. 3) Plan and implement co-teaching lessons. 4) Understand the importance of remediation and develop strategies to meet the needs of students. 5) Be willing to tutor after school through the high school tutoring program. 6) Be willing to attend outside meetings through RESA and the state of Georgia throughout the school year and summer.
Salary: Based on state salary schedule and local supplement schedule; degree and years of experience.
Effective Date: August 2014 with possible summer training required.
