We are working closely with a manufacturer in Pulaski, VA on a confidential search to find a Plant Manager. This is a small plant of 145 people and they make precision machined components for the plastics industry. The person selected for this position must have great leadership and teamwork skills and must have experience with all Operations functions, as well as direct contact with customers. Plant management experience with machined components is preferred, but they will consider people from other metalworking or plastics forming industries. A BS degree in a technical field from an accredited university is required, along with at least 5 years of Operations or Plant management experience. The Plant Manager will be responsible for all Production, Scheduling, Process Engineering, Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance and Shipping. Leadership, project management and good communication skills are critical. Travel is less than 20%. The company offers excellent benefits, including relocation assistance from anywhere in the USA. This position does not qualify for Visa sponsorship. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
