Position Description :
This is a communications role that is vital to the execution of high-quality colleague communications and to the effectiveness of the Zoetis Corporate Communications team. The chosen candidate will join a small, dedicated team that is responsible for developing and executing on an enterprise-wide leadership and colleague communications program designed to educate and inform the company''s 9,300-strong global workforce.
This position, which is accountable for colleague communication deliverables across Zoetis'' network of manufacturing, distribution and research sites, reports to the Director of Leadership & Colleague Communications.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Partnering with Corporate Communications, Manufacturing and Supply, and Research and Development leaders to proactively plan program-specific and quarterly internal communication plans that meet the strategic and tactical needs of our 30
manufacturing and research sites
Developing and writing all colleague-focused content in support of our Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) and Research and Development (VMRD) sites for internal channels including, but not limited to: email, intranet, digital and print signage, and Town Hall Meetings
Representing the Corporate Communications functions on all product quality meetings, advocating for the company''s core beliefs and ensuring appropriate stakeholders are informed should quality issues arise
Partnering with other members of the Corporate Communications team, and the team''s small roster of vendors, to deliver high impact visual and written communications that support the company''s brand
Developing strong relationships with subject matter experts across the company to ensure colleague communications are informed by company perspectives, events and activities and that messaging effectively resonates in all parts of Zoetis
Measuring the impact and effectiveness of all communications produced, in terms of cost per colleague, return on investment, and execution against intentions, as well as colleague behavior change where applicable.
Supporting all members of the Leadership and Colleague Communications and Corporate Communications teams with the execution of business requirements as needed
Educational & Experience Requirements :
5-8 years of experience and demonstrated skill in communications operations in a complex global matrix organization
3-5 years of relevant experience demonstrating skills in project management, colleague communications, digital communications
In-house Corporate Communications, public relations, media, and/or agency experience desired
Bachelor''s degree required, preferably in a communications discipline.
Experience or familiarity with managing communications to colleagues who work in a manufacturing or site-based structure preferred
Capacity Requirements:

Demonstrated track record of project management, organization skills, and attention to detail.
Able to multi-task and take responsibility for communications execution
Able to collaborate with technical and non-technical groups
Able to provide creative and innovative approach with a focus on meeting stakeholder needs
Willing to flex and take on responsibility outside of a specific set of responsibilities when the business need or opportunity exists
Capable of working well in a team environment but also in a global matrix organization
Location Requirements :
Position to be based at company headquarters in Florham Park, New Jersey.
Other locations to be considered include the company''s hubs in Kalamazoo, Michigan; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; or Zaventem, Belgium.
Travel Requirements :
Some travel required to sites in the United States, in addition to the company''s headquarters in New Jersey should the role not be based there.
