Description:
The ideal candidate for this position is a creative individual with strong computer skills and exceptional customer service skills. This person would be responsible for selling office furniture to customers, overseeing the stores inventory, updating the stores website, marketing of products and more.
Daily Tasks:
Selling of furniture to walk-in customers, phone in customers and website customers
Maintaining the stores physical inventory
Update, maintain and ensure accuracy of the Website
Photograph products, write elaborate product descriptions, and upload data to website
Post updates to social media outlets
Responsibilities:
Answer phones
Maintain the cleanliness of the furniture in the store
Organize, group and lay out store vignettes
Design and publish monthly sale flyer to email database
Work with SEO firm on Pay-Per-Click campaigns
Establish selling prices of furniture based on a Gross Profit Margin
Seek opportunities to purchase inventory for the store
Evaluate inquires of people selling furniture and determine value
Review, inspect and test incoming furniture shipments for damages
Qualifications:
CMS E-Commerce Website (No HTML Required)
Photography skills
Writing
General knowledge of Office Furniture terminology
Organizational skills
Self Sufficient (can work with little daily direction)
