As a
Content Marketing Specialist
, you'll be creating web content for various types of B2C businesses. Although the type of content you write will vary, it will typically include everything from basic web pages and informational blog posts to press releases and online articles. Our clients require QUALITY content, so your skills must extend far beyond the ability to write a coherent sentence.
A lot of your focus will be on home services--think architects, plumbers, home remodelers, landscapers, kitchen designers, and more. A background in these industries is a plus, but is not required. You must, however, be willing to learn about various types of home service industries and treat each client's business as if it were your own!
Job Requirements
4-year college degree in Journalism, Business, Communications or English (high GPA's and top-tier schools preferred)
Experience writing web content (or a fantastic portfolio, personal blog/website, etc.)
Extreme attention to detail with respect to writing accuracy, grammatical correctness, etc.
Ability to interface and engage with clients as necessary
Strong work ethic and a do whatever it takes to get the job done attitude
Exemplary organization and time management skills with the ability to handle several projects simultaneously
Knowledge of/familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) best-practices and techniques (provenEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
