We have a position open for a Power Electronics Lead. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, high energy individual with experience in designing and developing electrical subsystems, power electronics, grid tie interfaces, analog interface circuitry, motor drives and inverter systems.
Job Description
:
The candidate will be a hands on leader of a Power Electronics team responsible for designing and building power electronics for the Stirling Generator. This is an opportunity to take a very novel distributed generation device from prototype into high volume production.
Requirements:
Significant experience in designing and developing power electronics, grid tied interfaces, motor and inverter systems in the 10kW
power range
Ability to grow and manage a power electronics team
Experience in taking power electronics through certification agencies
Experience in working closely with manufacturing organizations to bring design into high volume production
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex concepts
Experience working to and with detailed requirements.
Must be able to develop efficient and effective timely solutions to diverse and complex design problems

BS/BA in Electrical Engineering --MS a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
