This is an exceptional opportunity for a currently enrolled student to work closely with the international affairs staff at a large trade association representing the HVACR industry in Washington, DC, with a global perspective.
The International Affairs Intern will be involved in a variety of policy projects related to the heating, air-conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and water heating industry. Projects will look at the industry on a global basis as well as key industry issues such as climate change and energy efficiency and be part of the team that develops industry policy positions on these areas.
Skill Requirements:
Research capability; self-starter and project completion orientation
Excellent oral, written (especially in summation format) and people skills
General familiarity with U.S. and International policy/business process/issues
Microsoft Office Suite
Second language a plus; not required
This is a 20-25 hour per week paid internship.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
