Our Engineering team is seeking a
PHP Engineer
to help in building our next generation platform. The ideal candidate is an engineer who can own implementing functionality with little supervision. S he is proficient in PHP and SQL and is comfortable with the full stack of the platform architecture including knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
Implement new features. Be excited to try new techniques and technology. Think outside the box, but be grounded in reality.
Communicate with other team members in a way that is easily understood to minimize back-and-forth.
Collaborate with and rely on the experience and knowledge of lead engineers without following blindly. Air disagreements when discussion is valuable.
Respond to bug reports with speed, and test your fixes and everything else, too.
Own your work: admit errors quickly, fix them, and learn from the experience.
Requirements:
2
years of PHP and MySQL database development experience
Experience building and maintaining high performing and secure RESTful APIs
Comfortable working in a Linux environment
Strong knowledge of HTTPS and data security (Knowledge of Hipaa a major plus)
2
years of experience in client-side technologies like HTML, CSS & JavaScript
Mobile development experience is a big plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with Agile softwareEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
