Our Engineering team is seeking a
Senior PHP Engineer
to help in building our next generation platform. The ideal candidate is a seasoned PHP engineer who can own the design and implementation of the platform. S he is proficient in PHP and SQL and is comfortable with the full stack of the platform architecture including knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript and User Experience Design.
Responsibilities:
Design new features. Be excited to try new techniques and technology. Think outside the box, but be grounded in reality.
Communicate your designs to other team members in a way that is easily understood to minimize back-and-forth.
Collaborate with and rely on the experience and knowledge of the software architects without following blindly. Air disagreements when discussion is valuable.
Work closely with management to determine both feature feasibility and resources required for a project in terms of time, money, and manpower.
Respond to bug reports with speed, and test your fixes and everything else, too.
Own your work: admit errors quickly, fix them, and learn from the experience.

years of PHP and MySQL database development experience
Experience designing and building high performing and secure RESTful APIs
Experience building and maintaining a scalable and reliable analytics and reportingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
