Position Description:This position is responsible for performing residential on-site energy analysis of customer?s premise and equipment operation, determining appropriate programs to assist with maximum efficiencies and providing appropriate program recommendations. Must motivate customers to implement conservation measures to maintain cost efficiencies and meet mandated Demand Side Management (DSM) Goals. Provide full service technical support for programs resolving customer complaints and technical inquiries. Collect technical data at customer's home and analyze the operation of their equipment and provide consultation to customers regarding energy usage and operational improvements. Promote appropriate and applicable DSM programs that result in cost effective measures which satisfy customer needs and contribute to the corporate energy reduction goals. Act as liaison between trade allies and the company while meeting mandated DSM goals. Serve as subject matter expert on all DSM programs and technical inquires. Provide new hire and ongoing training to Energy Efficiency Specialists as needed. Participate in or lead corporate or industry related committees or projects. Education: High School Diploma/GED or applicable certification or equivalent Work Experience
Requirements:
Territory managment experience preferred as well as sales/field experience. Collect technical data at customer?s homes or business facilities and analyze the operation of their equipment. This will include troubleshooting equipment problems, performing specialized inspections of the duct system, attic insulation, windows, roofing, appliances, and HVAC system. Provide consultation to customers regarding energy usage and operational improvements. Promote appropriate and applicable Energy Efficiency programs that result in cost effective measures which satisfy customer needs and contribute to the corporate energy reduction goals. Exceed required level of achievement of program sales compared to home energy checks as established for an Energy Efficiency Advisor.
Qualified candidates must be able to pass a drug/background check (No felonies!). Anyone authorized to work in the US is encouraged to apply however, we are unable to sponsor H1b candidates at this time. Please note the given pay rate range is an all inclusive W2 rate that does not include parking fees.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
