The candidate will handle a variety of responsibilities including prosecution and litigation support activities. Key activities will include: Assisting with patent development and prosecution including the identification of patentable inventions, facilitation of invention harvesting sessions, development of invention disclosures and drafting select patent applications; Collaborating with business clients and attorneys to advise on patent legal risk and issues, company policies and procedures and patent strategy; Providing counsel and transactional support on partner and vendor relationships; Supporting patent litigation including; analyzing merits of potential claims and relevant business considerations, collaborating on strategy, facilitating discovery, establishing and managing budgets; Conducting landscape, freedom to operate and similar analyses in conjunction with outside counsel; Enthusiastically advocating for patent protection in alignment with Allstate?s patent strategy, business strategies and focus on the customer; and Building and maintaining positive and effective client and peer relationships including collaboration within the Patent Team and with other divisions and practice groups in the Department of Law and Regulation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
