Assistant General Counsel
The candidate will oversee the firm's response to a variety of civil and criminal subpoenas and related litigation, including motion practice and the presentation of witnesses in necessary proceedings. Will work with management, internal business people, and internal/external counsel on a significant volume of escalated subpoena matters. Draft legal documents, conduct legal research, prepare motion papers and pleadings, analyze civil complaints and subpoenas and appear in court as required. Prepare management reports, provide legal advice to the firm's subpoena response functions, manage outside counsel, and liaison with governmental authorities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
