Job Description
Responsible for the product from start to a packaged, finished product. Coordinate activities of the production assistant and manufacturing assistant during press run time to ensure press efficiency and a quality product properly packaged. Coordinate the activities of the technical assistant, specifically, to the point of quality of intelligent imaging on the product being manufactured. Assist the technical assistant and perform imaging PM''s on imaging equipment on a daily basis. Responsible for the proper operation of the Multiprinter and all special equipment on the Multiprinter. Operate press at maximum production speeds consistent with top quality. Verify the IMB barcode and other imaged barcodes pass the MVP qulaity check. Complete daily maintenance of the press and related equipment, including cleaning and oiling of assigned equipment. While running the current job, prepare for the next job by reviewing docket and copy and completing as much pre-makeready as possible. Maintain exact record of press events on a daily basis. Perform postal checks on product to ensure meeting postal requirements.
