Legal Counsel IV - Sales Transactions
The candidate supports commercial transactions for the EG and PPS business units of the company for the US and Canada. Provides legal expertise in support of EG and PPS sales in the US and Canada for commercial customers, specifically Hardware, Software, Support, Professional Services and Managed Print Services deals. Leads the overall legal strategies and assessment of risks for these deals while working closely with the sales team and other stakeholder groups. Acts as a deal lead and mentors junior attorneys and contracts negotiators on larger, more complex deals. Drafts and negotiates contract terms and manages deal closings. Acts as the escalation attorney for the team to resolve and obtain approvals on complex legal issues. Leads or assists with the resolution of contract disputes with existing customers. Plans and facilitates the training and mentoring for less senior team members and internal clients on designated topics. Acts as a thought leader within an area of specialization by networking effectively to share subject matter expertise and exerting influence across a broad cross-section of the organization. Develops ideas and methods to effectively address recurring legal issues or matters facing the EG and PPS business units. Identifies and resolves complex legal issues requiring in-depth consideration of multiple factors.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
