Senior Attorney
Duties: Will report directly to the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Commercial and Financial matters for the parent company. Will be responsible for handling a variety of business, transactional, corporate and finance legal matters. Some domestic and international travel will be required to carry out these responsibilities. Provide legal advice and counsel to various levels of management to facilitate and enable domestic and international business, corporate and finance matters. Effectively negotiate sound contracts from key business principles. Handle third party conflict management and dispute resolution matters in the commercial context of long-term, win-win scenarios. Proactively engage in identification and management of commercial legal issues and risks. Serve as a commercial lead on special projects (mergers, acquisitions and divestitures). Advise concerning routine credit and finance matters. Provide counsel on corporate subsidiary matters of all types, including general corporate governance, compliance and international sales. Collaborate closely with other relevant functions and legal staff. Provide formal training and routine guidance on commercial legal matters (e.g. distribution, contract terms and condition, competition law, emerging issues and changes in law). Coordinate with and oversee outside counsel to ensure proper handling of matters where counsel is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
