Other Locations:
Provides direct professional nursing care for patients in the Main OR. Scrubbing and circulating duties required. Assumes responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluating health care needs of all patients assigned.
Provides professional nursing care to patients during the perioperative phase of treatment.
2. Uses principles of aseptic technique to establish and maintain a sterile field
3. Performs the role of the circulator.
4. Performs the role of the scrub nurse as needed.
5. Facilitates efficient completion of the surgery schedule.
6. Maintains organized work area and participates in daily unit duties.
Must have current RN license in the state of Alabama. Must be CPR certified. At least one year of OR experience required. Must be willing to work in multi-specialty areas. Vascular experience is highly desired. Assumes the responsibility of the professional Nurse by demonstrating accountability and seeking opportunities for continued growth.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
