Electronic Design Engineer
Our customer, a world-class manufacturer of electronic products is seeking a highly motivated Electronic Engineer to join its growing development team. This is a DIRECT HIRE.
The successful candidate will have experience designing applications for SMPS (switch mode power supply) topologies that are incorporated into the Company's high mix - low volume product lines.
This position will work closely with NPD, Standard Product Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Project Managers and Production to estimate, manufacture, test and schedule projects to completion.
Specific Requirements include:
1. Design analysis, modeling & simulation of circuits
2. Schematic creation
3. BOM creation and PCB layouts
4. Create designs that recognize package constraints with mechanical concept and mounting features
5. Seeing your designs through prototype development, test & validation, qualification, and Safety/Reliability certifications
6. A minimum of five years experience creating PCB designs.
7. A Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering.
