JOB TITLE: Acquisition Contracting Manager
PROJECT Overview:
Multiple projects within LCMC. Typically projects are acquisition projects that are approaching a major milestone or are going through a major contract transition. Expected projects are new contract writing for B-52 Training Systems Recompete, Presidential Aircraft Replacement, and Joint Strike Fighter Follow On Development
JOB DESCRIPTION AND
Responsibilities:
The individual will manage a large team providing multi-disciplinary support to government system acquisition program management offices. Will also serve as a senior advisor to government personnel. Duties will include planning, executing and controlling acquisition programs; organizing, training and supervising a support staff. Will work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide briefings and lead large meetings.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Acquisition Professional with 2-3 tours in acquisition billets
At least 5 years Contracting Officer experience
Past participation in development, coordination, and execution of a major program milestone
Experience as PCO for ACAT 1 programs
At least 15 years related acquisition experience required, at least 5 of which will have been in a leadership position
Bachelor's Degree.
Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbally.
Clear understanding of the OSD and USAF Acquisition organization
Secret Clearance

Master's Degree (related field)
WORK LOCATION: Dayton, OH
