POSITION
Summary: The individual should be personable, a problem solver, intelligent and able to adapt to all of the forces around them - Customers, suppliers, department employees, and co-workers.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
1. Parts sales order picking, packing and shipping.
2. All receiving of emergency and stock parts orders from vendors
3. Performs physical inventory counts in coordination with inventory control and parts management
4. Operates company vehicles as directed
Also,
Operates within all parts policies and procedures of the company
Contributes to high employee morale
Maintains excellent parts and service department and sales force relations

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/
Experience:
A high school or technical school diploma in parts operations or equivalent experience in warehousing in a distribution business


SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities: This position requires no supervision of staff.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Good communications skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good physical skills on equipment and an aptitude for manual work
Solid parts knowledge
Warehouse training in a distribution field
A solid understanding of the physical aspects of parts inventory
