The qualified candidate will possess the ability to consult, configure, install and troubleshoot in one or more of the following areas:
Networking (hardware, operating system, Local and Wide Area Network)
Unified Communications
IT Security
Storage
Wireless
Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange 2010
This position is responsible for planning, and implementing VoIP consulting engagements. The candidate will set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization. Although the primary focus of this position is to implement and support VoIP installations, the candidate may also be tasked with general network support and build-outs including security, routing, switching, wireless, and other network related duties. The candidate will also be required to provide mentoring, training, and support for the sales staff.
Essential Functions:
Work with customer and partner sales and technical teams to prospect and develop Cisco Unified Communications sales, design, installation, and support opportunities
Responsible for design, staging, configuration, implementation, and support for Cisco VoIP installations as necessary
Proficient at customer knowledge transfer and documentation
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
Keep accurate and detailed notes about the status of the work being performed
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Attend and participate in internal and customer meetings
Continue personal development
Performs other duties as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED/DESIRED:
Cisco CCVP - Required
Microsoft MCSE - Required
Cisco CCNP - Desired
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/DESIRED:
Prior technology VoIP implementation and support experience with Enterprise type accounts
A minimum of two years experience with Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Presence, Unity/Unity Connections, Contact Center
A minimum of two years experience with advance Cisco router/switch configuration
Experience with PBX's, Tandberg, Cisco Meeting Place, Cisco UCS, or Cisco TelePresence are a plus
