Responsibilities:
Lead the APQP/Safe Launch process to ensure program deliverables are met on-time.
Interface with the internal and external customers in areas such as AQP status, testing, zero mileage or field issues.
Participate in the identification and verification of product and process special characteristics.
Perform line walk and mistake proofing audits prior at the manufacturing plants prior to launch.
Lead problem solving investigations for internal and warranty issues and drive them to successful closure.
Provide leadership in development of quality documentation such as Design Failure Mode Analysis, Process Failure Mode Analysis, Control Plan, Dual Launch Netting Agreements for both Proto-type & Production.
Ensure lesson learned are adopted within the design and manufacturing processes.
Support the warranty reduction, prevention and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform internal audits in support of the TS-16949 registration.
Assist product engineering with advanced statistical analysis of DV/PV test data or Measurement Systems Analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum 5
years experience required.
Must be familiar with multiple Original Equipment Suppliers quality requirements and procedures.
Excellent customer liaison/contact experience is required to be successful.
Ability to diagnose and root-cause technical and process issues.
Ability to communicate with senior engineering, purchasing, quality and manufacturing staff.
Travel required approximately 15-25%.
Electronics Assembly knowledge and background preferred.
Proficient in software such as Word, Power Point, Excel and Mini-Tab.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
