Very fast growing and exciting company has an immediate need for a mid to senior-level Python Developer on a direct basis. In this role, you will work on the backend and team up with a very smart and motivated group of Developer s in an Agile methodology. You will work on one of the key products for the company and act as a primarily player on the Python side of the house.
This company is extremely healthy and profitable, but at the same time are still in high-growth mode and offer the enjoyment and flexibility similar to that of a start up company. You will have telecommute, flex hours, highly competitive salaries, 401K, and stock options upon hire.
Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders for requirements, design a solution; partner with developers /architects to implement; interact with QA to make sure solutions meeting proper quality.
Offer opinions about design direction; solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Always look for way to improve the process, fine tune the design and/or develop and implement the product.
Requirements:
3
years experience building RESTful APIs in Python using web frameworks
Experience with SQLAlchemy and MySQL
Strong Linux knowledge
Works well in an Agile environment
Distributed SCM tool
Preferences:
Pyramid, Mercurial
Bachelors' Degree in CS highly preferred
Any PHP / MVC Framework / Codeignitor
Nginx and Single Page Web ApplicationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
