ABOUT THE POSITION:
Our client, a leader in the retail sales industry, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join their team in the Fairfax area. They are looking for a leader to develop and implement their human resource initiatives in a results-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will lead the human resources team in achieving operational goals and implementing employee engagement strategies. The successful candidate will coordinate recruitment and retention initiatives, training opportunities and maintain effective employee relations. The Director must be able to provide quality human resource strategies and management that are responsive to and aligned with the business strategy.
Specific Requirements:
o Enhancement and implementation of human resources strategies
o Development and management of the human resources department
o Creation of an employee and results oriented company culture
o Supervision of local and remote human resources staff
WHAT IS NEEDED?
This position requires a highly motivated individual who is skilled in change management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills and be able to function and succeed in an organization with many diverse locations. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and SPHR certification is a must. To be successful in this position, 8-10 years of Human Resources experience is required as well as previous supervisory experience. Experience in retail and/or the sales industry is a plus, as is knowledge of ADP.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
