This position is for a proposal requirement; this is not a current opportunity. CLGT Solutions is seeking telephone interpreters for handling calls on demand, rarely by appointment, and renders the meaning of conversations in the consecutive mode of interpretation between Spanish and English speakers. The interpreter processes information quickly and concisely, recognizes sensitive cultural differences and is professional and courteous at all times. The interpreter uses appropriate medical terminology and understands common industry procedures and practices. The calls may be technical or non-technical in the following fields: healthcare, insurance, and 911.
Roles & Responsibilities
Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol
Provide clear and accurate renditions with no additions or omissions
Employ good customer service and clear enunciation, pronunciation, pleasant and professional voice as well as polite forms of expression
Follow client's instructions, manage the flow of the call and avoid taking over the call, as well as avoid interaction with the Limited English Speaker (LES) without client's permission
Understand protocol and terminology in the healthcare industry
Maintain a professionalEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
