Responsibilities:
Position requires the filling and packaging of products, cleaning of production facilities and equipment, troubleshooting filling/packaging equipment, completion of paperwork for batch records, and final disposition calculations. Incumbent must be able to calibrate scales and complete daily checks to support in-process compliance testing.
Position may have exposure to potential allergens or other environmental hazards.
Basic
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Operate and perform set-up for product filling, filling machine, staking, and pouch master machines.
Calibrate scales and complete daily checks to support in-process compliance testing.
Perform room and equipment inspections to verify/approve cleanliness prior to use.
Complete equipment log sheets, cleaning sheets, and door tags for all production rooms and equipment.
Understand and adhere to batch record instructions.
Verify all packaging materials issued from packaging personnel.
Complete all closeout paperwork and batch record reconciliation.
Ensure packaging schedule is completed by due dates.
Complete training and demonstrate competence of all functions within the packaging department.
Use of hand tools including the disassembly and reassembly of equipment.
Cross train in other departments as needed.
Able to work individually or in team environment.
Other duties assigned as needed.
Adhere to all workplace policies and procedures.
Demonstrated strong documentation skills.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication and interpersonal interaction skills

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Troubleshooting/problem solving skills to alleviate process/equipment problems, identify and resolve filling and packaging issues upon supervisor or QA approval.
Experience working in cGMP environment or pharmaceutical industry.
Experience working with process area with specific gowning and safety requirements to ensure compliance.
Able to work individually or in team environment.
Shows flexibility and desire to train in other departments as needed.
Strict adherence to site policies and procedures.
Additional Information:
8 hour 1st shift M-F or 8-hour 2nd shift M-F

This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration for up to 4 years.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
