Responsibilities:
Position Brand Description: With a site mission of developing effective partnerships to safely and reliably maintain equipment in a qualified state and drive improvements to reduce manufacturing losses, this role will provide supervision for maintenance coordination. The Maintenance team will serve a variety of areas at the Clinton site. This positions main responsibility is to provide the necessary supervision required to support the sites maintenance support activities while looking to opportunities for continuous improvement including cost reduction, efficiency gains, and improved capability. This role will also include the improvement and the on-going management of the Maintenance Program revolving around Safety & Environmental, Quality, Maintenance Performance, Operations Support, and People.
Safety - With our goal to pursue an injury free workplace, minimize our environmental impact, and improve safety performance and awareness, responsibilities include:
Ensures team is compliant & trained on program, procedures, policies, etc.
Active member of the PEM Safety Team
Lead Safety Coaching with Crew
Participates with Safety Program
Ensures proper housekeeping of responsible areas are maintained
Owns incident reporting, investigating, and corrective measures
Quality - Operate in a continuous state of compliance and improve our Quality of Maintenance Execution, as well as look to become more effective and efficient with our processes, including:
Follows GQS and Maintenance Procedures
Maintain high level of coordination ( 0 overdue PMs)
Maintains a minimum backlog, ensuring the craft utilization of time and daily documentation of work performed (Measure and report schedule effectiveness)
Maintenance Performance - Through effective resource utilization and continuous improvement, we will become a profit center for Animal Health Manufacturing by reducing losses, improving equipment reliability, and lowering Maintenance costs.
Support Manufacturing without Product Loss Impact

Manage Resources Effectively

Maintenance Support - We will use a controlled process for work execution (Planning & Scheduling w/ Priority Response) in order to maintain the equipment in a qualified state and support operational objectives for providing product. This entails:
Planning & Scheduling Compliance
Engineering Support for Projects & Design
Support Site Initiatives & GMP Plan #Walks down jobs
Create job plans for urgent corrective work
Schedule and prioritize all work orders (WO), preventative maintenance (PM), and maintenance requests (MR). Ensure all information is corrent and follow up with requestor or area owner if appropriate
Reviews and ensures all documentation is correct, then closes WO, PM, MR out.
Assign 100% available labor to scheduled work for following week (including but not limited to project work, WO, PM, MR and contractor oversight)
Ability to be on the floor and included in planning/schedule of work
Support Crafts people with escalated issues and parts needs
People - We will develop a maintenance organization in line with the Lilly Values, with focus on becoming one site, and using technical knowledge, skills, and consistent processes to ensure delivery of the companys goals and personal growth needs.

Basic
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous maintenance experience
GMP knowledge/ manufacturing experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Computer savy (i.e. experience with Excel, word document programs, Outlook)
Previous MAXIMO experience is preferred
Previous Supervisor experience is preferred
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally at all levels
Ability to provide coaching and feedback
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, set objectives and meet targets
Demonstrated ability to provide high-level customer service
Demonstrated ability to work without close supervision
Additional Information:
Personal Considerations: Must be able to comply with internal gowning and SOP requirements (i.e. wearing dust mask, PAPR, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
Must be willing to respond to off-hour emergencies when necessary.
Must be willing to work overtime during peak periods
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
