ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Work independently to clean facility area and production equipment. Learn how to disassemble, thoroughly clean and sanitize (using cleaners and solvents) and reassemble all equipment in the production area.
2. Involved in pest control of the plant and its out buildings.
3. Must assist with cleaning of major equipment such as fryers, spiral freezers, etc.
4. Monitoring of existing programs such as listeria and ATP Testing.
5. Must be willing to certify and work with Confined Spaces and with forklift.
PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assist other areas of sanitation as needed such as dish and custodial staff.

# ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, CHARACTERISTICS
1. Must be a team player capable of working independently and in a group setting.
2. Must be capable of independently organizing workload.
3. Must be able to disassemble and reassemble various types of equipment.
4. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (freezer & ovens) and become knowledgeable in proper use of chemicals.
5. Must be able to work ground level but also at extreme heights as well.
6. Bending, stooping, walking, reaching, grasping, carrying, repetitive motions and visual skills are required on a constant basis. Ability to stand on feet for entire work shift, normally 10 or 12 hours depending on shift, is required, however, overtime may be required during peak production periods.
7. Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
8. Must possess problem-solving and good communication skills.
9. Must be able to complete appropriate paperwork as necessary.
10. Ability to think safety and work safely at all times and must follow all proper ergonomic and safety practices.
11. Ability to read, speak and understand the English language. Must be able to perform simple math problems, including addition, subtraction and multiplication.
12. A high school diploma or GED preferred, or two or more years English as a Second Language classes required.
Lifting - More than 52 pounds without assistance is prohibited!
