We are currently looking for a _Solutions Architect - Network_ to join our Network practice covering enterprise named accounts and to be located in Southfield, MI or Cleveland, OH.
_JOB SUMMARY
_
The Solution Architect (SA) is a pre-sales technical resource assigned to customers and supporting account managers in a specific geography. A Forsythe SA is a pre-sales technical resource who has experience with conducting presentations, creating network architecture and designs, bill of material and proposal generation and can foster both client and partner manufacturer relationships. A Forsythe network SA demonstrates complete technical expertise in designing and architecting Network Solutions (both products and consulting services).
_PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
_
Support District Manager/Account Managers in all presales related effort.
Local Vendor Relationship/Business Development activity.
Mentor Technical Consultants in technology and sales experience.
Manage Technical Consultant through lifecycle of delivery engagement.
Must create all Bill Of Materials/Network Design Templates/Statements of Work for all Network Hardware, Software, and Services related opportunities.
Give customer information to Product Management for customer case studies.
Adhere to 48 hour SLA to account manager for abstract/SOW/pricing creation.
Build and maintain strong virtual bench of subcontractors within the region.
_EDUCATION:
_
4 year college degree (B.A or B.S) or 6-10 years related work experience and/or training.
Associate''s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:
_
Advanced knowledge of Cisco Networking products required. Cisco Voice over IP and Unified Communications preferred. Advanced knowledge of Riverbed Steelhead, Juniper Networking, and F5 preferred.
Previous experience in a pre-sales, advisory, and/or delivery role.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
_CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
_
Cisco certification (CCNP or CCVP) required.
Cisco certification (CCIE) preferred. Other industry certifications can be accepted when relevant to high-level detailed design recommendations of network systems engineering and design.

_SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
_
Possess excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills will be required with an emphasis on technical documentation and writing as well as presentation experience to Vice President and above positions in the development of network architecture strategies.
Have the ability to work in an open team environment as well as a nationally distributed sales environment.
Possess an acumen or direct knowledge of network analysis tools including solutions such as HP OpenView, NETIQ, Spectrum Tools, FastNet WAN, etc. network tools and software are preferred.
