This position involves the mechanical and electrical repair, assembly and/or installation of equipment and parts requiring wiring, soldering and connecting in equipment cabinets, chassis, assembling gear boxes and other electro/mechanical assemblies by following specific instructions and interpreting assembly drawings.
The selected applicant will become BAE Systems certified in cable fabrication, solder, and fiber optics. Will read schematics and follow and develop detailed work instructions, wire run lists, and procedures. Will provide assistance to senior engineering and maintenance technicians with pulling cables and wiring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing shipboard electronic equipment, and maintaining test beds. Some accompanied travel to US Navy ships to assist in equipment maintenance, removal and installation will be required.
Will research parts obsolescence issues, effectively communicate with vendors, and will be responsible for procurement tasks such as submitting Request for Quotes, Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders. The selected applicant will also be required to update and maintain supply data bases and provide procurement status updates and reports.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Requirements: High school diploma plus Technical/Repair training/certification OR military electronics training
At least two years related experience
Experience with standard test equipment
Experience with test plans and procedures, schematics, drawings, and wire lists
Familiarity with use of common hand and power tools
Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
Preferences: AN/SPN-35C, AN/SPN-41, AN/SPN-43C military radar experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Military/DoD electronics experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
