Summary:
The Designer is the entry level for CAD design. Good basic knowledge assures practical execution of work on design solutions for Kautex and OEM parts and systems. Furthermore they assures internal and external customer satisfaction with functional design and independent workout of solutions on time and supports PE with implementation of design solutions.
Responsibilities:
Creation of 3-D CAD models and 2-D drawings conforming to standards and specifications; check in of data in PLM-system.
Working with OEM teamcenter databases and release systems
Check of 3-D and 2-D data quality referring to customer requirements with adequate check tools (e.g. Endcheck, Q-Checker)
Package-analysis with adequate checktools, as far as necessary for the task.
Fitting analysis with adequate checktools: data check for defined specifications (clearance, etc.); tolerance stack up.
Simulation with adequate software: filling analysis.
Fill out CAD orders; support of customers in filling out CAD orders.
Responsible for in time delivery of design results.
## Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor degree in Engineering with Design focus
Qualifications:
System Knowledge - UG (requried), and Catia (an asset)
Testing and Validation experience an asset
Knowledge of automotive and industry standards
