The Speed Reducer Assembler is responsible for the full range of activities required for the assembly of speed reducer products. This includes setup of the build stations, assembly of the full range of speed reducer products manufactured, finished testing and diagnostic assessment of units. The Assembler uses a variety of hand tools, precision measuring instruments and material handling equipment such as hoists and forklifts. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED SPECIALIZED SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have at least three (3) years of previous mechanical assembly experience or related qualifying experience. Must possess skill in the use of micrometers, be able to work from blueprints and have an advanced understanding of shop math. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time. This position is with a leading industrial automation company focused on solutions that help customers meet productivity objectives. Starting pay is 14/hourly with increases after 3, 6, and 9 months.
