Application Analyst
Brooksource is searching for an Application Analyst for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a client of ours in the insurance industry located in the Green Bay, WI area. The primary focus of the Application Analyst will be to develop an understanding of our clients business needs and translate those needs into technological systems, design specifications and solutions. The Application Analyst will partner with other associates to analyze, design, develop, implement and integrate moderate and complex business systems that will optimize business outcomes. Other responsibilities of the Application Analyst include:
Provide development and ongoing software support for various phases of the software development life cycle of projects
Build a standards-driven, scalable, secure and dynamic SOA-based services for the viewing and storing of insurance records
Partner with other business areas to understand application requirements and develop to fulfill those requirements
Take ownership of building and improving web applications in an agile environment
Guide technical teams in delivery of quality solutions
Role Essentials include:
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience

years of computer development experience
Strong .NET technical design abilities
Experience creating technical specifications
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong, proven analytical abilities in relation to system design
Open systems development experience in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, TFS, WCF Services, and SQL2008
Comprehensive understanding of SDLC, OO principles and design patternsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
