Manager, ERP Finance / Accounting Systems

Our client, a reputable, growing company is looking for a Manager, ERP Finance / Accounting Systems to join their team in the Geneva, NY area as a full-time employee. The Manager, ERP Finance / Accounting Systems, as part of the Enterprise Back Office Solutions Group, will partner with the global Finance and Accounting organizations, business unit IT and other Information Technology groups to identify and define strategic directions to innovate, deliver and support applications and business processes in this process area. You will help communicate the defined strategic direction, provide project management and business analysis, and oversee a virtual team responsible for delivery, implementation and overall IT support of the Finance and Accounting functions globally. You will have 1 direct report, a financial business analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning enterprise IT priorities with the business needs, assisting the Finance and Accounting process leaders in the development of a business case, developing budgets to support the baseline and project activities of the global and business unit initiatives, and managing the budget. In addition, you are responsible for assuring staff development within the Enterprise Applications group, and optimizing the use of corporate and business unit IT resources to meet Finance and Accountings business goals. Key processes in the Finance and Accounting area include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, GRC, Travel and Expense, Financial Reporting and Payroll. Strategic systems include Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.1.3, Hyperion Financial Management, ADP payroll services and Concur travel and expense management. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a major role in this major endeavor where Oracle EBS and other services, such as Payroll and Time and Expense, will be rolled out globally over the next 5 years. Requirements:
8
years of experience managing large Finance and Accounting processes and systems (i.e. Oracle eBusiness Suite, SAP, etc.).
Hyperion Financial Management ( HFM ) and ADP payroll services and benefits administration preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of business relationship management, system analysis, governance, project management and software development lifecycle.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technology concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven track record and experience developing policies and procedures, and successfully executing programs that meet objectives of excellence in a dynamic environment.
Experience with contract and vendor negotiations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (relevant concentration preferred), or MIS, with 10
years of experience required; or a Graduate Degree (Masters) in Business Administration, MIS, with 8
years of experience preferred.
Open to domestic / international travel 25% of the time.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
