oProvides operational support for mission critical systemsoSupports a 24x7 operations center working day/night; shift work is requiredoServes as a first level service desk technician who records and identifies issues, attempts a first-call resolution to the issue, and assigns it to an appropriate workgroup if unable to resolveoUpdates existing incident and service requests in the Service Manager systemoInteracts with Engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to restore service and/or identify and correct system problemsoPerforms system backups - restores systems from backupsoCreates and maintains user profiles and accounts-User Account ManagementoMonitors network and system activity and troubleshoots outagesoExecutes procedures, in a sequential order to maintain system operations
Qualifications:
oRequires a High School diploma or a minimum of 8 years experienceoMinimum of 4 years experience with Microsoft Office
Additional Desired Skills:
oAssociates Degree with at least 4 years of experienceoWorking knowledge of various operating system platforms, such as Unix, Linux, and WIndows is desiredoWorking knowledge od TCP/IP networking principles is desiredoOrganizational skills and attention to detailoAbility to communicate effectively (oral and written) and to collaborate work in a team environment.
This position requires the candidate to already possess an active TS/SCI clearance and to maintain the clearance.
