Jacobs is seeking a senior engineer to provide high level Structural Engineering design, calculations and computer modeling services for clients and other Jacobs Offices as required. Provide support to structural and technical staff for design projects. The position is based in our Bedford, NH office. Engineering required for but not limited too:Structural design of roadway/railroad bridges (ASD, LFD, LRFD) Seismic analysis and seismic design, including retrofit of existing structures Load rating of roadway bridges of varying lengths and configurations Preparation of conceptual design reports and bridge rehabilitation reports Production of preliminary and final design documents Construction Support Services experience Bridge inspection experience Basic
Qualifications: Bachelors (minimum) and Masters (preferred) degree in Civil/Structural Engineering 15
years structural engineering experience Proficient in structural analysis, design, and load rating software PE license requiredMeet NBIS requirements for bridge inspection project manager/team leaderPrior MassDOT bridge inspection experience highly desirableBridge design experience utilizing AREMA/AASHTO LRFD bridge specifications Familiarity with project development procedures for New England DOT's Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation desirable Ability to manage project from conception through completionStrong communication, organizational and writing skills Excellent written and verbal communications skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
