1. First, the molds go into a very high pressure furnace (mold firing) to melt the wax out of the ceramic.
2. Second, we need to make sure there are no defects or spots missing in the ceramic.
3. Third, wool is cut to pad certain areas of the ceramic to ensure that it does not crack while in the furnace. It is also used to seal any cracks or defects.
