Under general supervision, conduct review and approval of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, design drawings, design specifications and instruction/procedures for Manufacturing, Test and Inspection activities to assure compliance with Quality System requirements. Coordinate review of Supplier related discrepant material, investigate cause of defect/failure and take corrective action, monitor Quality trends and take appropriate preventive action. Prepare reports and analyses, perform special tasks as assigned in support of Quality Program Objectives, and make presentations to Department and Program Management and Customers as required.
30%-Review purchase requisitions and assign supplier quality requirements.
20%-Develop Inspection Planning Sheets for Receiving Inspection.
15%-Work with suppliers to resolve issues with purchase order inspection packages.
15%-Participates in managing the supplier ratings / scorecard system and overseeing quarterly meetings.
15%-Work closely with Planners, Program Quality Engineers, and Receiving Inspection to resolve supplier issues.
5%-Visit suppliers to review product & process issues.
Bachelor''s degree in an appropriate discipline and two years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. (U.S. Citizenship required)
Desirable
Qualifications: Prefer technical experience as an associate quality engineer in Quality Control/Assurance, Product Reliability, Laboratory Test Procedures, Production, and/or Process Engineering. Proficient computer skills with Oracle 12 Database a plus. Strong knowledge of statistics and the interpretation of statistical results. Ability to work effectively under general supervision and make proper technical judgments, often under stressful conditions. Knowledge of Quality Assurance Systems requirements. Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
