MAJOR DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED:
Provide support to Project Managers throughout all assigned projects.
Track commitments by ARRIS personnel, sub-contractors, other project contractors, and customers that affect the success of the Division.
Generate and document timely commitment reminders to those who must meet the commitments and solicits documented responses.
Train and assist Project Managers in the use of MS Project and the utilization of the Margin Worksheet bidding tool.
Create and assist in all Project Engineering documents, drawings etc
Review and approve working budgets and timelines for all projects
Review and approve all Engineering / Purchasing requisitions
Assist and guide Project Team in the proper activation, testing and completion of all ARRIS projects.
Review the quality of work on all projects for adherence to ARRIS ISO standards. Take corrective action as appropriate
Submit, review and approve monthly project invoicing and accruals.
Required Skills
Related telecommunications experience
Organized, self-motivated, ability to problem solve
Attention to details
Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
Excellent computer skills
Ability to work efficiently within deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Required Experience
Six year s Project Management and six years technical background experience or 10 plus years experience relating to the performance of the above listed tasks
Valid Drivers License
Good driving record
