Responsibilities: CTS (Cerner Technology Services) is one of the fast growing segments of Cerner's business. CTS primary function is to host, manage and monitor client systems. Additionally CTS provides disaster recovery and temp hosting services for Cerner clients. CTS' remote hosting option (RHO) provides superior performance, security, reliability, and scalability with a lower up-front financial commitment from the client by combining hardware, networking technologies, and technical expertise. It allows healthcare organizations to leverage the most sophisticated and powerful IT solutions available today from our state-of-the-art data centers. This position will be responsible for the architecture, design, engineering, implementation and optimization of Cerners corporate voice, video, and collaboration services, which includes Unified Communications, conferencing and contact center solutions and must have a strong Microsoft Exchange technical background.
Job Duties:
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities: Lead the technical design, implementation, and optimization of Cerners global voice, video, contact center and UC infrastructure/solutions with an Exchange focus Lead architectural and topology design, new technology evaluation and integration planning activities Ensure architecture and design provides reliability and redundancy for all services to include corporate voice, video, contact center and UC applications with an Exchange focus Lead Call Center design as well as provide expert consulting services and support for Cerner call center environments. Lead the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, process and procedures Provide expert consulting related to Cerners collaboration services to internal clients. Lead release management activities for assigned infrastructure. Assess new software releases, assist with development of test plans, and develop implementation procedures and guidelines Provide technical leadership in the development of plans for establishing, augmenting, or optimization of collaboration solutions Provide technical leadership in the design and development of network performance data collection, alarm and performance criteria and reporting capabilities Contribute to the development of work Instructions, solution documentation, best practices, standards and guidelines. Participate in Incident, Change and Problem management functions Provide expert technical support on complex system and application performance issues Work in accordance with corporate and organizational policies and procedures Understands personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets. Takes appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of role. Follows Cerner policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others.
Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Management Information Systems or a combination of equivalent education and work experience. 6-10 plus years previous experience in the design, engineering, maintenance, and optimization of large, complex communication infrastructures and networks Significant experience in the planning, design, engineering, implementation and operation of cost-effective, TCP/IP WAN/LAN and wireless networks utilizing traditional and next generation technologies. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Experience with a large scale deployment of Microsoft Exchange desired. Working knowledge of Avaya Communication Manager, Media Servers, Media gateways, Session Manager, and Modular Messaging Strong knowledge of voice networking architecture/designs to include SIP trunking, Session Management, and Unified Communication applications Expert IP network design experience to include VoIP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS Extensive knowledge and experience in call center design and report development/generation Significant experience in evaluating and successful implementation of new voice/video/data networking technologies Strong knowledge of network element and performance management systems Familiarity with domestic and international carrier networks, products and costs Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to analyze network utilization and performance data Strong Project Management skills Strong Financial Acumen and experience in developing business case justification including technical and financial analysis Strong understanding of financial modeling to include ROI and NPV Experience in developing network standards, guidelines, and best practices Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks concurrent Preferred
Qualifications: Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCVP certifications preferred Microsoft MCTS and MCITP Certification strongly desired Strong knowledge of Microsoft Lync Server 2010 and 2013Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
