The Associate Product Manager is responsible for growing the customer satisfaction, market share, revenue and margin for the Essentials product portfolio, which includes corded cleaning equipment and walk-behind sweepers. The focus of this position will be primarily on current products, but there is potential for work on small-scale new product development projects as the candidate grows into the role.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Provide support to help Sales navigate through unique requests, which may include working on special pricing requests in competitive situations, working with Engineering on custom product requests, and working with Sourcing on unique supplier offerings
Partner with Sales, Supply Chain & Current Products Engineering to improve product quality & increase product margin. This includes analyzing field data, customer complaints, and warranty data to validate trends and prioritize with the Current Products Engineering group
Support Sales with more complex product questions including applications, certifications, and competitive sell-against strategies
Develop competitive assessments and sales tools to help win market share
Manage annual pricing process by creating market-based pricing comparisons and driving the communication and implementation plan
Lead product enhancement programs with the Current Products Engineering team and launch to the market
Drive channel strategy for current products to help grow revenue, which includes developing a more robust eCommerce strategy for Essentials products
