Principal Quality Engineer - Continuous Improvement

Under minimal direction, position performs as Continuous Improvement (C.I.) leader for company at site and enterprise level.
30% - Provide strategic direction for continuous improvement at program, site, and enterprise level. Assist in the development of C.I. related plans to meet company's financial, execution, and growth objectives.
30% - Train and coach employees, teams, and organizations in the use of continuous improvement operating system tools, processes, and methodology.
15% - Periodically perform assessments with programs, functions, sites, and the enterprise against requirements of the company's C.I. goals, objectives and C.I. operating system. Assist in the development of gap closure plans.
15% - Assess opportunities for continuous improvement at all levels of the company, and partner with affected entities to create C.I. plans, and resulting project plans that will drive efficiency and improved metrics at the program, site, and enterprise level.
10% - Facilitate process improvement events at program, COE, site, and enterprise levels (eg VSMs, 3Ps, Cellular Design, miscellaneous Kaizen events)
Requires a minimum of a bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline, Business Administration, Operations Management, a Manufacturing discipline that includes Lean/Six Sigma in the curriculum (eg Industrial Engineering), or a degree in a related field that encompasses Quality and/or Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma training. At least 14 years of experience in positions that include leadership in Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma). Or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be certified to a recognized level of C.I. proficiency that includes advanced lean/six sigma tool comprehension and practical facilitation of moderately complex to complex projects/events. Demonstrated experience in the successful facilitation of Continuous improvement events that have resulted in tangible cost savings and/or efficiency gains is required. Experience in rocket engine/motor and/or missile defense propulsion system fabrication is desired. U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person required.
This position requires travel up to 75% of each month (3 weeks). The majority of the 75% travel status will be based at the Sacramento site with occassional travel to other facilities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
