This position is responsible for managing, directing and planning one or more IT projects. Additionally, you are responsible for the scheduling
and assigning project tasks, team building, and maintaining working relationships with business areas outside of the Information Services
department. Broad business and IT knowledge is required along with the ability to manage projects outside of any one departmental area. Projects tend to be of high business visibility and will be corporate objectives, therefore, soft-skills are also important and your ability to communicate with business professionals in a sometimes, high-stress environment will be a key to success.
The person in this position should have the following
Qualifications:
Ability to manage projects from inception through implementation with teams of up to 15 people.
Ability to understand the nature of the impact that projects have on specific business processes of FM Global. Ability to establish and maintain a high level of business trust and confidence.
Significant ability to mobilize and motivate others from within and outside of the project team, both IS and business, about the importance and necessity of timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
Complete understanding of software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management.
Technical understanding of hardware and systems software, as well as experience implementing packages and working with vendors.
Experience in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presenting them to IS management and business representatives.
Strong resource planning knowledge and experience. Proven ability in providing and hitting project estimates and milestone timelines.
Although a BS, MS, or MBA is strongly preferred, is not required. Relevant work experience and/or certifications may support the lack of a degree.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
