INVISTA's Performance Surfaces & Materials Business (PSM) is seeking a Utilities Process Engineer at our Camden, SC site who will be responsible for providing process and equipment improvement support to the site Utilities / Power area. This position has a high level of autonomy and requires a self-starter with a proactive approach to identify and complete critical tasks.

_Job Responsibilities_ :
Responsible for providing engineering support to operations and maintenance teams on various Utilities equipment and systems
Initiate and implement capital improvement projects within the Utilities / Power areas
Develop and implement managing systems to improve Environmental and Safety compliance
Responsible for insuring EHS compliance of the equipment and insuring safe and environmentally compliant operation.
Support site safety and training initiatives (maintain maintenance / engineering job procedures, participate in RCA incident investigations)
Implement reliability improvement systems in the utilities / Power areas
Review and upgrade area operating procedures
Prepare and execute design packages that will improve safety and operability of the plant
Work in a team environment with operators, mechanics, and exempt professionals
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot problems and perform root cause analysis
_Required Education/Skills:_
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or applicable discipline from an accredited program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Minimum of 3 years industrial engineering experience providing technical support in a manufacturing plant or industrial environment
Experience in compliance with standards and regulations associated with operations in a manufacturing plant or industrial environment
Experience in identifying, leading, developing and implementing improvement initiatives
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
_Preferred Education/Skills:_
Advanced degree in an Engineering or applicable discipline from an accredited program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Experience providing technical support on Power/Utilities equipment and processes (steam generation, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, and cooling water or similar systems)
Experience with providing technical support to DP:DPO vapor process heat transfer systems
Experience as a capital project manager
Statistical Analysis Skills: Proficiency in Minitab, SAS, or other statistical
