Summary: The IT Field Support Specialist is responsible for the daily operation, support, and maintenance of IT enterprise services and solutions while also providing end user support to internal and external users by leveraging various technologies. Moreover, the IT Field Support Specialist will have ultimate support responsibility within a given region to support existing or new base sites. DUTIES: Primary responsibilities include: Administers and supports laptops, desktops, workstations, mobile devices, and applications Actively updates existing or creates new procedures relating to the IT Operations groups responsibilities. Owns assigned projects and tasks within the IT Operations team Visit base sites periodically to address tasks that cannot be completed remote WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment, but regular travel to base sites and to other company locations is required No or very limited exposure to physical risk May be required to sit for long periods of time May be required to lift 50 lbs. or more

Qualifications: A. Education: Associates degree (Bachelors degree preferred) or equivalent work experience is required B. Skills: Strong interpersonal skills Good communication and documentation skills Demonstrate ability to learn and support new applications and technologies Relentless focus on providing a high degree of service by taking ownership of projects, tasks, and trouble tickets Proactively identify and recommend updates or changes to existing processes, software, or hardware. Value self-accountability by taking ownership of assigned tasks and projects Demonstrate the ability to complete initiatives and projects on time Demonstrate the ability to minimize travel to base sites while providing timely and effective support to bases in the specified region C.
Experience: Three years of experience in providing end-user technology support Proficient knowledge of: o Windows, Microsoft applications (Office suite, Dynamics, Lync) o Enterprise ticketing and asset management solutions (IT360, Altiris, SCCM, LANDesk) o System imaging and deployment (Ghost, MDT) o Scripting and automation tools (PSTools, PowerShell) o Mobile devices (iOS and Android devices, wireless data cards) o Antivirus and malware clients o Computer components (video cards, processors, RAM, SSD, HD) Intermediate knowledge of: o Windows Server, Exchange, Citrix, e-Faxing solutions o Basic enterprise network knowledge (network infrastructure, firewalls, proxy, VPN) o VoIP and RoIP technologies o Network administration o Telecommunications wiringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
