We have a great opportunity for a talented Quality Engineer at out Thermo King facility in Hastings Nebraska. You will help drive quality in our manufacturing processes, so we deliver the best and most reliable products to our customers. In this role you will: Drive resolution of manufacturing quality issues by utilization of structured problem solving methodologies to establish capable measurement systems, collect and analyze data, identify root cause and implement effective corrective action. Train, coach and lead quality technicians. Support quality management system processes and practices including active participation in management of critical to quality processes Daily quality engineering support of manufacturing operations Support of new component and new production introduction through development of systems like PFMEA and Control Plan and methods to ensure product and process quality. Lead process improvement activities to improve cost of poor quality Drive warranty cost reduction through warranty data analysis, identifying failure modes and implementing effective solutions. Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and supplier quality organizations to fix quality issues. Supplier quality issue resolution specifically related to production operations disruption Bachelors'' degree in Engineering or closely-related field required ASQ Quality Engineering certification is a plus Experience with implementation of Quality Management Systems is a plus 3
years of experience in a manufacturing quality or supplier quality role Demonstrated experience with leading structured problem solving activities Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma tools Six Sigma certification preferred Our climate businesses deliver energy-efficient solutions globally.
