Qualifications:
Essnetial Functions:
Fully understands production routers (read, interpret, and follow all router operations)
Material types, lot numbers and quantity required
Router sign-off procedures
Can identify tooling for specific operations
Identify Materials
Use all machines commands and controls.
Understands and maintains UPL boards data.
Maintain cell charts
To able to read blueprints and in accordance with standard shop practices.
Ability to safely and accurately setup and use a wide variety of hand tools and gages.
Responsible for finished parts conformity to print or specification.
Fully complies with ethical policies of the company.
Be able to deburr all couplings
Perform 1/16 hole operation
Perform tumbling and mechanical polish
Perform reaming operation
Perform counter sink operations.
Capable of performing the following operations: reaming, inserting hammer drive screws, peening, operating and assembling hardware.
Capable of setting up and operating bulge rivet machine to assembler retainers.
Fully understands ATP requirements, can access QC info to view specs, set-up test fixture and perform ATP testing
Understands channel coating requirements and capable of performing this operation as called on the routers.
Has the ability to set-up and operate laser marker, understands customer requirements as called out on the PMI sheets and perform hand marking operations.
Can identify, locate, and kit hardware necessary to assemble retainers.
Has the ability to receive components into stock, can generate and release assembly work orders as well as understands sales order requirements.
Perform all 5S
activities and keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.
Dedicate a minimum of one hour a week on continuous improvements activities.
Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic
Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum of 1 year experience
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ''Green Card Holder''), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
Position Criteria:
Operate machines, and any other calibration equipment such as calipers, or any other equipment necessary to perform job functions.
Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Basic mathematical skills required.
Ability to communicate with team members efficiently and work in a team environment.
Job requires lifting a minimum of 25lbs or up to 50lbs on a daily basis, as well as standing on feet up to 8-10 hours per day. Constant use of hands is essential.
