Accenture's Federal Services has opportunities in Annapolis Junction, Maryland for Software Developer professionals to join their high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients in Financial Management, ERP Package System Implementation, and Business Process Improvement. The Ideal candidate will possess solid system development skills and an interest in joining a consulting workforce. The candidate should have proven experience demonstrating a consultative approach on projects and with customers and should demonstrate a history of excelling above and beyond peers. The ideal candidate must be flexible to take on new tasks and responsibilities, depending on the project needs. Tasks may include designing and developing solutions for including Full Life Cycle Projects, change management, testing, financial releases, project management, requirements gathering and client management.
Position Description:
Analyze, code and test software (both new and changes to existing programs) from design specifications
Help ensure the finished product meets the design objectives and any other appropriate criteria associated with the system requirements and Statement Of Work (SOW).
Produce complete and accurate documentation for work based on program standards
Work with project leads (Development, Functional, Technical and Interface/Conversion) to confirm and substantiate functional and technical designs
Create technical design specifications
Assist with configuration of applications software
Provide production support for the project applications
Activities include program analysis, testing and system enhancements.
Some support may be outside of normal business hours
General:
Apply appropriate technical, industry, and functional knowledge to all work efforts
Accomplish assigned work by designated due date
Identify problems and alert supervisors with sufficient lead time to avert crisis
Identify changes in scope of work effort that could result in budgetary overrun of the missing of delivery dates
Operate independently as appropriate and work cooperatively as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the program and the team
Notify supervisors/escalate issues when problems or issues arise that are outside of normal scope of area
Interact effectively with program personnel to include project team members and users Communicate status to the relevant team leaders in accordance with program procedures
Report time into the time reporting systems in an accurate and timely manner consistent with project guidelines
Continually broadens own technical, functional and industry skill base
Suggest ways to improve upon assigned tasks for the betterment of the individual and the team
## Qualifications
Basic
Qualifications:
Must have an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Information Technology, Accounting, or Finance
Six (6) years of experience programming in an object-oriented programming language in SQL, or Java, or C++
Six (6) years of experience in Web development including HTML and JavaScript
Four (4) years of experience in requirements analysis/generation
Two (2) years of experience in a client facing assignment
Preferred:
Exposure to/ or experience with PeopleSoft Supply Chain, Financial and/or HCM
Accounting/Financial Experience working within or supporting DoD or Federal Intel Agency
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
Strong analytical skills
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
